problem
The tennis club was running on pen and paper. Trainers and members were disorganized, tournaments were chaotic to manage, and there was no central place for people to connect or track progress. Poland didn't have a product that combined booking, scoreboards, rewards, and a pointing system in one place. The club had potential to grow, but the lack of infrastructure was holding them back. Members wanted easier ways to book sessions and connect with trainers, and staff needed tools to manage events without drowning in administrative work.
solution
A comprehensive dashboard that handles booking, events, communication, and performance tracking in one platform. The system includes integrated scoreboards for tournaments, calendar booking for courts and sessions, and a rewards system that keeps members engaged. The design embraces a classic, timeless tennis aesthetic with traditional typography and overlays that give the entire interface a cohesive, professional look. By integrating with calendars and seat booking for tournaments, the platform became the central hub the club needed to scale their operations and grow their business.
I joined the project in 2021 as both designer and strategic partner, working closely with the founders from the very beginning.

This wasn't just a design engagement, it was a full six-month journey from concept to launch. I handled market research, user research, workshops, branding, logo design, pitch decks, prototypes, financing support, and implementation oversight. The founders had a vision but needed someone to help translate that into a real product.
The biggest design challenge was implementing the scoreboards. Tournament scoring in tennis is complex, with different formats, tiebreaks, and match structures that needed to be intuitive for both players and spectators. I spent significant time mapping out the logic and designing interfaces that made sense in the heat of a match. The booking system also required careful thought, balancing availability, trainer schedules, and member preferences without creating friction.
Branding was essential to setting the right tone. Tennis has a rich, traditional aesthetic, and we leaned into that with classic typography and a visual system that felt timeless rather than trendy. I designed overlays that unified the interface and gave it a polished, high-end feel. The photography treatment followed the same principles, creating a consistent look that made the platform feel like it belonged to a premium club.
Daily founder syncs kept the project moving. We used detailed specs, checklists, and UAT processes to make sure the development team implemented designs accurately. I managed the implementation directly, which meant catching issues early and iterating quickly when something didn't work as expected. The collaboration was intense but effective.
The results spoke for themselves. User engagement skyrocketed, bringing more members to the club and creating new revenue opportunities. The platform made it easy for trainers to connect with clients, manage schedules, and run tournaments without the administrative chaos that used to accompany events. The tennis club is now one of the top clubs in Warsaw, and they're still using the platform today. The project proved that good design combined with strategic thinking can transform a business, not just make it look better.
